From Road To Mountain

EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen, the world‘s largest biking fair, attracts thousands of visitors to Lake Constance every year. This was reason enough for Pearl Izumi to take part with a new trade fair booth. RUN Retail United invented the catchy motto “From Road to Mountain” as part of its concept development, which perfectly summarises the Pearl Izumi brand, with its programme of sporting goods (clothes, shoes and accessories) being specialised in biking, triathlon and running.

The slogan dominated the entire 150m² booth in content and style: A road with image-shifting optics led the visitor from the road cycling to the triathlon and onwards to the mountain bike section, where the respective highlights of the collection were presented accordingly.

Additional focal points were the athletes’ wall, which displayed 15 back-light images of sportsmen and women, and the original Abu Dhabi Triathlon bike of sports star Faris Al-Sultan.

Finally, an inviting and staffed Tech Bar made it possible for visitors to test Pearl Izumi‘s sophisticated and innovative technologies and to experience the brand’s advantages as well as the top quality of their products.

Once again, RUN Retail United stayed true to its principle of taking responsibility for the entire process from strategy to planning and implementation, so that Pearl Izumi – whether on foot or by road or by mountain bike – got a definite head start.
